Our client wanted a mudroom in their basement that would maximize storage but not feel dark and cramped.  We optimized the space by designing wall to wall built in storage to accommodate all of the families' seasonal clothing and sports equipment, a place for the kids to to sit and get ready and a sink to clean messy boots. We added glass windows in the adjacent gym to allow natural light to flow into the mudroom. Combining a textured wood grain with glossy white lacquer and marble arabesque tile, we created a modern, elegant and functional space.
